Noodle ball brought
something new to physical activity. We split the entire group of students into
two teams. The teams understood who was on their team and who opposed because
we categorized them with bandannas. Those with bandannas were one team and
those without were another. The reason noodle ball was unique and alternative
was that it was similar to the game of softball but instead of using actual
bats we used pool noodles and the pitchers rolled the foam ball. Using a noodle
created an exciting twist and challenge that the students and mentors enjoyed.
