Douglas 4-H Summer Program -- Week 2 Arts and Crafts

They say a child’s brain is similar to a sponge absorbing information like water. The mentors from Douglas High School are the water falls filling their minds with the utmost important skills of a great citizen.

 To illustrate the great example the mentors are setting for the children we look at the arts and crafts section of the mentor program. Last week mentors taught the 6 pillars of character. Thus learning this lesson teaches them the characteristics of a good citizen such as respect and responsibility.
