This week the projects were dedicated to making gifts for
Father’s day. The students were able to use household items to create gifts.
This taught them money management skills by allowing them to create gifts that
were inexpensive. It also taught them how to create recycled crafts instead of
discarding all of their used materials. The first part of the project was to
create Father’s Day cards. This used construction paper and markers. The second
day this week was dedicated to creating gift bags and bows for the gifts that
were going to be made for the fathers. This used recycled newspaper and
sandwich bags.
