This week the children learned alternative ways in drinking water, for example adding lemon, strawberries, mint, or cucumbers to the water. Because it will adds natural flavors to the water, this a healthier beverage choice instead of sugary drinks. The children had the opportunity to choose their own flavor.
6-8-15
This week the children had the opportunity to learn what part of the plant we eat. The kids were able to use plastic fruit and vegetables models to guess where it came from. Such as the root, stem, leaves, seed, fruit, flower. We discussed how important it is to eat colorful fruits and vegetables throughout the day.
